Kagera
Mara region is endowed with many tourist attraction sites including the Serengeti National Park – the Africa’s most famous game sanctuary. A fraction of about 2/3 of the land mass of Serengeti National park is in Mara region. More opportunities exist in construction of hotels and resorts in places like Butiama where land of 3.1 Ha at the Mtuzu ward has already been surveyed and set apart for tourism development. Butiama also houses the Late Founding Father, Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Mausoleum.  
 
In Bunda, the Speke Gulf area has been gazette (GN No. 469 of 1997). These sites are ideal for camp sites development. In Rorya, the Islands Ryamakabe, Bugambwa are suitable for tourist camping sites and other related investments. Further, more tourism facilities such as hotels, camp sites can also be developed in Tarime, Magena, Nkende and Tagota where a total of 35 plots have been reserved for tourist hotels and camps. Other places of target include Makoko and Bweri where land has been earmarked for hotel construction.
Shinyanga

atural resources sector is comprised of various sub-sectors including forestry, fisheries and bee-keeping. The sector is very important   in the contribution to social and economic development of the Region. According to the 2002 Population and Housing Census Shinyanga Regional Profile, the sector provides employment to about 8.6 percent of the total labor force in the region.

Apart from economic gains, the sector also plays an important role in the maintenance of climate stability, conservation of water sources, soil fertility, controlling land erosion, and providing source of wood fuel, industrial materials and non wood products such as honey and bee-wax as well as providing habitats for wild animals.

Simiyu

Development and establishment of robust camp sites and hotels, tour operators, cultural exhibition, water sports and associated facilities. The existence of cultural and tourism office in all the Districts is a major incentive for investors. 

Mwanza
Tanzania is a well known tourist destination in East Africa. The most visited attractions are the Serengeti plains, the Ngorongoro crater, Mount Kilimanjaro, and Zanzibar Island.  But these are a small portion of what the country has to offer. 
 
Being a region with a promising future for tourism and business, Mwanza offers enormous investment opportunities with abundant unique natural features.The exploitation of Lake Victoria as a tourist attraction is possible so long as the necessary tourism infrastructure is in place including a good, all weather road network of up to tarmac standard.
